The worse the angular velocity synchronization is, that is, the output shaft of the gearbox rotates uniformly, and the rotation speed of the input shaft of the pump is increased with the above-mentioned intersection angle, and the rotation speed is more uneven. Usually, the intersection angle is controlled at 0.5 during installation. Degrees to 10 degrees. However, sometimes the cross angle becomes larger due to deformation of the frame, human error in installation, loose fixing parts, etc. This situation is not easy to be found.
The use of non-universal couplings can avoid the above situation. Plum blossom couplings are one of them. This method requires high installation accuracy, and the axial and radial deviations must be controlled within 0.2mm. There is no situation where the speed of the melt pump is not synchronized with the speed of the driving part, but sometimes the driving torque is significantly increased due to deformation of the frame, human errors in installation, loose fixing parts, and bearing failure, and even overload protection or shear safety pins appear Case.
